Full Job Description:
Duties of our maintenance staff includes anything to assist the Property Manager or Leasing Agents including but not limited to:
· Maintaining a presentable appearance around the property including daily pick up of the grounds and curb appeal.
· Handling work orders in a timely manner and ensuring the service is completed or the office is notified if unable to complete and why. Clean up after you have completed any work orders. Completed work orders need to be turned in daily so that leasing agents can follow up with tenants.
· Turning units which can include paint prep, drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, cleaning, punch out, etc.
· Safety issues need to be reported to the office and proceed to secure the problem. Appliances left in open areas, loose railings, tree limbs down, exposed electrical wiring, etc. Safety procedures should be followed when handling hazardous materials, including discoloration, flammable material, extension cords, ladders, climbing on roofs, etc. Injury prevention procedures should always be followed, when lifting, moving, climbing, etc.
· Ability to work with all staff and subcontractors. Coordination with all involved will provide work getting done in a timely and efficient manner.
