It is important that candidates are available for on-call duty and willing to serve after hours. Prior experience with hospice MD is a prerequisite for this position.
- Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and monitoring vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' health status and document findings.
- Perform case management duties, including coordinating patient care and providing education to patients and their families.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Assist with medical procedures, such as catheter insertion and removal, as needed.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [location].
- Minimum of [number] years of nursing experience in [specialty area].
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
- Proficiency in administering medications and performing various nursing procedures.
- Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
