The Warehouse & Logistics Manager will be responsible for the performance of logistics within in the North American Market, by ensuring an efficient and effective operation of the warehouses, contributing to the overall success of the supply chain and the satisfaction of customers.
Third-Party Logistics Management:

Manage the performance of third-party logistics providers in Pleasant Prairie WI (main warehouse), Houston TX (satellite warehouse), and Odessa TX (satellite warehouse) and any other potential warehouses.

Ensure our KPI’s (EHS, Inbound, Quality, Cost, OTD, Productivity, Inventory accuracy) are met with target

Manage and support logistics projects to optimize cost, make efficiency improvements to ensure agreed service levels to Customers.

Manage the development, implementation, and control of new processes and procedures for the 3rd party logistics provider through closely monitoring and ensuring all is in compliance with the Jenbacher rules and regulations.

Training of employees (3rd party) on the new processes and procedures developed. Ensure processes are documented and validated according to INNIO requirements.

Maintain comprehensive Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) protocols across all logistics operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, promoting safety awareness, and fostering a culture of responsibility.

Drive & Strive for an adequate ERP-system configuration.
Inventory Management

Manage the inventory in the Main Warehouse and the different Site inventories in Oracle ERP.

Manage controllership processes (like daily cycle count and yearly physical counts).

Consistently seek ways to improve inventory management processes, aiming to make them more efficient and accurate. Actively work to enhance inventory control methods and reduce errors, ensuring smooth operations across all warehouse facilities.
Communication
- Ensure close connection with both Customer and local Customer Facing teams to understand customer needs.

Ensure close connection with supporting organizations; Forecasting, Warranty, Sourcing, Distribution Center and Logistics team
Continuous Improvement

Oversee a continuous improvement program with third party, incorporating lean principles, employee feedback mechanisms, regular performance reviews and ongoing training to optimize warehouse operations and enhance overall logistics performance.
Qualifications / Requirements:

Bachelor's in business administration and/or in the field of Supply Chain or Logistics or similar

Warehousing expert, minimum of 5 years' experience with managing a third-party logistics provider
