As the
Sr. Executive Assistant you will provide executive administrative support to a Vice President. This individual must handle a high volume of work and be comfortable with an unpredictable workflow. This role requires excellent independent judgement and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information. The individual in this role will have a high level of professionalism, be comfortable regularly interfacing with the senior leadership team, have high attention to detail, and clear communication. The ideal candidate will be highly visible, interacting with the senior leadership team, executive assistants, cross-functional partners, and internal/external contacts.
This role is
hybrid, which means you must be located within a drivable distance to our Best Buy Corporate office in Richfield, MN. You will be asked to come into the office 3 days per week.
What you'll do
- Provide executive administrative support for a Vice President/Senior Vice President.
- Proactively manage leaders calendar while balancing the leader's current priorities and anticipates future activities and priorities.
- Serve as a liaison to the leader and is considered a communication link among the leader, direct reports, peers, business partners and customers.
- Plan and coordinate complex projects, team events and activities (e.g., presentations, meetings, special events) utilizing independent judgement.
- Responsible for making domestic and international (when applicable) travel arrangements
Basic Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of administrative support experience
- Advanced Microsoft office and business software skills including PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Excel
Preferred Qualifications
- 3 or more years supporting an officer or senior executive
