Texas Health School is looking for a full time Vocational Nursing instructor, who will be responsible for teaching the Vocational Nursing (VN) curriculum to the students enrolled in the program.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Teaches assigned VN courses
- Keeps a record of attendance
- Is punctual and is reliable in attendance
- Grades assignments, quizzes, and exams, as per the syllabi.
- Attends meetings on a regular basis
- Provides progress update to the students
- Develops academic plans for students who are not meeting the academic or attendance requirements required to be successful in the program.
- Provides lab and tutorial support to the students
- Oversee clinical assignments
Educational Requirement:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited institution
- Master of Science in Nursing preferred
- Active RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing
Experience:
- At least six months to one year teaching experience as a VN didactic instructor in a classroom setting
- Three years’ experience in the clinical field as a registered nurse
Work Schedule:
Monday & Friday 8 - 4 pm - Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday 6 - 10 pm , Occasional Saturdays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $78,000.00 - $84,000.00 per year
