Position Summary
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing a variety of work including the maintenance and repair of buildings and grounds in assigned area(s). The Maintenance Worker may be responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the maintenance operation. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position may vary by Aramark location based on client requirements and business needs.
Essential Functions
· Schedules and assigns daily work assignments to a team and oversees the completion of tasks
· Inspects assigned area on a routine basis and performs maintenance where necessary to keep facility in functioning and serviceable condition
· Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists of prescheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures
· Daily roof rounds (boilers or leak check)
· Daily Facility interior rounds, check for any damages or routine repair
· Daily facility exterior rounds, check for damages or routine repair
· Replace and maintain all hallway lighting including exit signs
· Follow up on employee information (sign in binders)
· Organize and receive all maintenance supplies
· Receive and escort all vendors
· Receive and complere all work orders daily
· Complete projects (all filters replacements)
· Fill in housekeeping/porters roues as applicable
· Be available for on call duties after hours
· Maintain supply inventory
· Responsible for equipment
· Maintain facility cleaniness
· On call availability
· Repairs various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc.
· Reports any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate
· Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures
· Other duties and task as assigned by manager
Qualifications
- Previous maintenance experience required
- Previous experience is a supervisory or related role preferred
- Must have the ability to work independently with limited supervision
- Must be able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks
- Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Requires frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling up to 50 lbs.
- Requires occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling
- Must be available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.50 - $27.50 per hour
