Looking for an experienced Parts Counter Specialist to add to our active parts team. Good customer service skills are necessary! Job responsibilities include: Provide excellent customer service with retail/wholesale customers, assist walk-in customers in accurately selecting required parts, prepare parts requisition and submit orders as required, keep accurate records of special-order parts. Answer phone calls, provide price quotes, and follow ordering procedures for phone orders. Obtain credit authorization as required. Ensure all cash, credit, charge, purchase order, invoice, and tax-exempt sales are processed. Maintain inventory on shelves and in bins by reporting items needing to be reordered. Assist in inventory control to achieve maximum turnover in accordance with established goals.
Ability to read orders, pull and carry parts up to 75 pounds, assist to load delivery vehicles as needed.
Automotive parts experience and a high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred.
