The primary function of this position is to greet people, coordinate administrative duties, answer the telephone, perform various office-related tasks, and assist in the daily operation of the office. We are looking for a Office Receptionist who is friendly, organized, professional and flexible with the handling of daily interactions of our outstanding office. This is the home office for Legend Senior Living and the position will interact with company leadership on a daily basis, so professionalism is of the utmost importance.
Some of the responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:
- Present a high level of professionalism at all times and provide an exemplary first point of contact for all visitors, residents, agencies, and associates arriving at the office
- Prepare meeting areas for guests and training opportunities
- Ensure proper and adequate stock of all necessary items in supply room, stock room, and kitchen
- Answer and direct all incoming calls in accordance with company practices and guidance
- Take messages from callers and ensure delivery when required
- Assist in daily cleanliness and operation of the office
- Coordinate all maintenance related issues with appropriate vendors and support personnel
- Assist with other administrative duties as they arrive
Requirements
The Office Receptionist we select must have demonstrated knowledge of basic office skills. We are looking for an individual with previous experience in an office setting, including, but not limited to:
- A strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Reliability and dependability
- The ability to read, speak, and write English clearly
- Past experience interacting with company leadership, customers, and various vendors
- The ability to perform administrative work assigned including typing, faxing, copying, filing, accepting packages and preparing mailings
- A High school diploma or GED
