Proxemics Consulting is currently seeking a versatile Retail Assistant/Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role combines customer-facing responsibilities in retail with essential warehouse duties to ensure smooth operations. We are looking for a proactive individual who thrives in a dynamic environment and can handle various tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in the retail area by providing product information, answering inquiries, and processing sales transactions.
- Receive and unpack merchandise deliveries, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory updates.
- Organize and maintain stock levels in the retail area, ensuring shelves are well-stocked and products are displayed attractively.
- Prepare orders for shipment or collection by picking, packing, and labeling items correctly.
- Assist with general warehouse duties including but not limited to stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and maintaining cleanliness.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail and/or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and helpful demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $23.14 - $25.69 per hour
