Face-to-face nursing assessment of all new clients within 48 hours of admission.
Administer medications as prescribed by physician, when available.

Supervise the Approved Medication Assistive Personnel (AMAP) program per WV State Code 16-5.
Gain certification as AMAP trainer and conduct AMAP trainings to staff initially within 3 months and re-train every 2 years.
Identify and schedule necessary health (EPSDT, optical, dental) appointments and coordinate with appropriate shelter staff.
Administer or facilitate administration of any necessary diagnostic testing, drug screens, or pregnancy tests as approved or requested by the WVDHHR.
