Jersey Mike's is looking for restaurant staff to join our team for our grand opening!
Restaurant staff at Jersey Mike's Subs are highly motivated, friendly and put customer service above all else. We make a high quality product for our customers and seek high quality employees to do it! We need restaurant staff who don't mind working in a fast-paced environment with heavy demands, especially during meal rushes. Successful restaurant staff candidates will work the front counter, make sandwiches and other positions, as needed. Restaurant Staff Responsibilities:
- Maintain a fast speed of service, especially during rush times
- Take orders from customers and input their selections into the restaurant's computer systems
- Assemble order for dining in or to-go bags, depending on the type of order
- Process large orders for events
- Clean your station thoroughly before, during and after each shift
- Respond to guest questions, concerns, and complaints, and make sure they leave satisfied
- Follow all restaurant safety and security procedures
- Arrive on time for all shifts and stay until shift completion
Restaurant Staff Requirements/Skills:
- Current student or high school diploma/GED (preferred)
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work on your feet for most of your shift
- Strong customer service skills
- Capable of lifting 25 lbs.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
