Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and a proven track record in kitchen management.
Duties:
- Manage kitchen staff and coordinate food preparation activities
- Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of supplies
- Develop and maintain recipes and menu items
- Monitor food costs and work within budgetary guidelines
- Train new employees and provide ongoing coaching to kitchen staff
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in kitchen management, including shift management and inventory control
- Strong cooking skills with knowledge of various cuisines
- Familiarity with bartending is a plus
- Previous experience in restaurant management is a plus
- Certification in food handling is required
