Essential Job Functions:
- Provides safe and quality patient care virtually and functions as a patient advocate.
- Uses technology as a platform for patient care, navigates computer and cloud storage systems, and demonstrates strong typing skills.
- Delivers patient care that leverages access, comprehension, coordination, longitudinal relationships, through virtual care channels.
- Delivers patient care in high priority content areas as determined by leadership to further organizational interests. Such high priority content areas may include travel health, preventive care, or care targeting a range of common chronic conditions. The registered nurse will participate in care delivery for these priority content areas and roles may include modalities involving, chat, video, email, or phone.
- Maintain a growth mindset with desire to learn as service lines evolve.
- Demonstrates the ability to assess, record, and report needs, concerns and coordinate the needs of patients and maintain constructive relationships with them, and with all care providers.
- Strong clinical decision making skills and ability to work independently as well as within a team environment.
- Educates and instructs the patient and/or other responsible person in meeting nursing and related patient care needs.
- Demonstrates accurate and appropriate documentation skills and compliance with documentation guidelines.
- Maintains a reliable mode of transportation for all scheduled in-person shifts, with reliability being a key piece of job performance.
- Accountable for attendance, punctuality and overall dependability. Accountable for effective performance and follow-through of all assigned responsibilities and completing responsibilities within designated (or agreed upon) timeframes. Completes responsibilities in a manner consistent with organizational policy, goals, and values.
