We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our Finance Department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately entering financial data into our computer systems and scanning files to ensure the integrity and efficiency of our financial records.
This position is Part-Time. It will start off with 40 hours for the first 2 months and then 10-20 hours after.
Responsibilities:

Enter financial data into computer databases with utmost accuracy and efficiency.

Scan and digitize financial documents and files for record-keeping purposes.

Verify data by comparing it to source documents and ensure its completeness and accuracy.

Retrieve data from the database or electronic files as requested by the finance team.

Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information and adhere to data integrity and security policies.

Assist in maintaining and updating financial records and databases as needed.

Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
Requirements:

Proven experience as a data entry clerk or similar position, preferably in a finance department.

Proficient in using computer software and data entry systems.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.

High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in finance or accounting are a plus.
