Job Summary
Our dispatch/customer service team is the heart and soul of the operation at New City Moving. They are responsible for communicating all information between our sales team, our movers and our customers. This includes making the schedule for our moving crews, texting and calling them with start times for the next day and ensuring everyone shows up to work in uniform and on time. This is a fulltime position.
What You Will Do:
- Make the schedule for the next days moves, and call/text all movers with the next days start time
- Contact clients and update them early start times or late arrivals
- Ensure all team members are in uniform and clean in appearance
- Report any maintenance issues with trucks to our fleet department
- Reroute crews in real time if a crew finishes early or a move is taking longer than expected
- Praise movers for doing a great job and give verbal/written warnings when issues arise with the crew
- Oversee and control overtime during our busy summer months
- Make sure all paperwork is correct, and upload job assignments to iPads
- Assistant clients on move day while providing amazing customer service

- Bilingual English/Spanish is a must
- Ability to multi-task while paying close attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid Drivers license needed.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.50 per hour
