Front Royal Family Practice is hiring a Call Center Representative to support the many inbound and outbound calls of our busy Practice and schedule patients accordingly. Great communication, computer, and organizational skills are a must. Exemplary customer service skills are also required. This position will be cross trained to perform Front Office duties as well.
Main Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Answer incoming calls and manage patient inquiries
· Transfer calls as required
· Accurately and efficiently schedule patient appointments
· Register patients according to established protocols
· Ensure patient information is accurate, including insurance information
· Inform patients of medical office procedures and policy
· Maintain and manage patient records
· Respond and comply to requests for information
· Complete other clerical duties as assigned
· Safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality
Education, Qualifications, and Experience
· High school diploma
· Experience in a medical office or medical setting (preferred)
· Knowledge of medical terminology, procedures and diagnosis (preferred)
· Knowledge of computer and relevant software applications (preferred)
· Knowledge of general administrative and clerical procedures
