Overview: The Personal Lines Client Advisor is a senior position for a seasoned insurance professional. This position provides guidance and support to other team members on the PL Client Advisor team and is responsible for assessing each client’s risk and determining if the coverages and policies in place are sufficient to accommodate the client’s needs. This position is an integral part of the agency’s client retention program and requires a critical eye and a vast array of carrier and coverage knowledge to identify potential gaps in coverage.
This is a full-time position reporting to our office in Providence, RI. This position has the potential for remote work after training is completed.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
- Proactively engage with clients to offer personalized advice on optimizing their insurance coverage and policies for enhanced protection.
- Conduct thorough consultations with clients 30 to 40 days prior to policy renewals, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
- Consistently achieve renewal review goals and daily proactive call targets to deliver exceptional service and maintain client satisfaction.
- Prioritize and fulfill reactive service requests related to policy renewals promptly and accurately, demonstrating commitment to client needs.
- Identify and address significant premium increases by reviewing and strategically remarketing client accounts for optimal coverage and cost savings.
- Evaluate the MPIUA book of business to identify opportunities for remarketing and improving coverage options for clients.
- Proactively reach out to clients who have not had recent agency interactions to foster stronger client relationships and address potential needs.
- Collaborate with the Customer Service Management (CSM) team by assisting with overflow calls and providing valuable support to team members as required.
Requirements:???????
- 3+ years of experience in the Property & Casualty (P&C) commercial lines industry in an account management role.
- Additional experience in related fields such as sales, marketing, or business administration preferred.
- High School Diploma/GED.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Additional industry designations such as Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR), Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA), or similar certifications preferred.
- Professional Property & Casualty Insurance License.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
