Job Description: Communications Associate
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Communications Associate to join our team. The Communications Associate will support the development and implementation of communication strategies, create compelling content, and assist in maintaining the organization's online presence. The ideal candidate will be a strong writer, creative thinker, and a proactive team player.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Management: Manage and grow the organization's social media presence, including content scheduling, monitoring, and engagement.
Media Relations: Assist in building and maintaining relationships with media contacts, and support the creation and distribution of press releases and media kits.
Event Support: Provide communication support for events, including writing promotional materials, managing event communications, and post-event follow-up.
Internal Communications: Assist in the development and distribution of internal communications to ensure all staff are informed and engaged.
Research and Analysis: Conduct research to support communication strategies and analyze the effectiveness of communication activities.
Brand Consistency: Ensure all communications are consistent with the organization's brand and messaging guidelines.
Qualifications:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms and management tools.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience with graphic design and multimedia content creation is a plus.
