We're seeking enthusiastic and adaptable customer service team members who enjoy working outdoors to join us at the LeFrak Center at Lakeside, located in Prospect Park. As part of our dynamic team, you'll have the opportunity to rotate through various roles, including cashier, skate rental attendant, skate guard, and bike and boat rental attendant. Boat attendants must be able to operate a kayak and be proficient swimmers.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Attend daily opening meetings with the Manager on Duty (MOD) to discuss programming, events, specials, and important guidelines.
- Adhere to all Lakeside transaction policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Ensure consistent attendance and punctuality.
- Proactively resolve guest issues to ensure satisfaction.
Position-Specific Duties:
Cashiers & Skate Rental Attendants:
- Receive and verify the opening cash bank from the MOD.
- Maintain accurate accounting of transactions throughout the day.
- Complete closing procedures with the MOD, and report any issues encountered.
- Provide efficient and friendly service to guests renting skates.
Skate Guards:
- Monitor the skating area for safety compliance, assist skaters, and maintain order.
Bike & Boat Rental Attendants:
- Assist guests with equipment rentals and ensure proper safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the rental area.
Qualifications:
- Willingness to work various positions throughout the week, assisting with daily operations and adapting to changing programming and event schedules is key to providing seamless customer service.
- Following operational and safety procedures as directed by management, while organizing resources and managing tasks, is essential for smooth customer interactions.
- Handling multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, outdoor environment while maintaining attention to detail is necessary for success.
- Adhering to dress codes and efficiently completing all required tasks shows reliability and professionalism.
- Strong communication skills ensure that information is conveyed clearly, fostering positive interactions with guests and team members.
- Learning and sharing program details quickly will help guests navigate and fully enjoy the activities at Lakeside.

Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
