As the first point of contact for incoming calls and walk-in customers, you are responsible for professionally representing 8z. The Customer Care Team Member is a member of the 8z Rentals Property Management team and is responsible for interacting with owners, residents, and vendors. This includes resident-facing customer service, administrative operations, property visits, and general support of the market office. This is an in-office position at our Boulder location.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- DEPENDABILITY!!!
- This is a 40-hour-per-week, onsite office position during business hours Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.
- Responsible for maintaining a high degree of customer service and competency level in all resident interactions; phone or email, formal written communication, or in person.
- Must be able to learn and adapt to multiple software platforms quickly.
- Listening and problem-solving skills are a requirement for this position.
- Answering and directing phone calls.
- Assigning emails.
- Assisting callers before transferring calls.
- Assist in updating and adding vendor information.
- Resident Rental Verifications.
- Login troubleshooting.
- Securing new vendors for Denver/Boulder/ NOCO portfolios.
- Forward HOA information/ alerts to tenants as needed.
- Assist in auditing property information by following up with owners and managers.
- General data entry with great typing skills.
- Other duties as requested.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Property Management, Community Manager, or Real Estate Assistant experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational and attention to detail skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships internally and externally.
- Projects confidence in interacting with clients and always displays professional presence.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-changing, growth environment.
- Honest, ethical, and able to maintain confidentiality in a business setting.
- Interacts productively in person and through technology with co-workers, team members.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to comfortably navigate new technology.
- Previous use of Appfolio software a plus.
- Property Management skills are not required
- High School graduate required.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
