Position Summary
FLEX Performance is a human performance company that focuses on integrated employer solutions, comprehensive athlete programs, and educational tools to help you excel in work, sport, and life. FLEX is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Outreach Athletic Trainer.
In this role you will be providing Athletic Training Services to high school sports on a Part-Time Basis for Sacramento Unified School District and the high school you are assigned. The schedule will run July 22 - May 16th, Monday through Friday with guaranteed 25-29 hours a week.

Qualifications
·Master's from a CAATE accredited athletic training education program. Bachelors from a CAATE accredited athletic training education program will be accepted when completed before 2022 phase out.
· Must be NATABOC certified and have current American Heart Association or American Red Cross CPR, AED, and First Aid certifications.
· Thorough skills associated with athletic injury prevention and the administration of therapeutic modalities, devices, and rehabilitation techniques, as well as first-aid, athletic equipment, and injury assessment and treatment.
· Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive matters involving athletic injuries and treatments.
· Ability to work in a highly collaborative manner with others, including athletes, coaches, parents, and staff.
· Skills necessary to communicate verbally and in writing. Skill in oral and written communications to insure clear and effective direction and communication.
· Ability to organize and prioritize work assignments and complete assignments within required timelines.
· Proficiency in MS word and excel, for procurement of injury tracking and injury reports.
· Strong organizational and interpersonal skills needed to work with a diverse client group.
· Skill in the use of various athletic training aids (tape, wraps, modalities, exercise programs, massage, etc.) necessary to successful applications of athletic training methods
