We are looking to hire a Medical Device Sales Specialist / Account Manager. This person will drive the sale of clinically differentiated Anesthesia, Respiratory and Critical Care products to the Hospital, Surgery Centers and EMS markets to achieve territory quota and revenue goals assigned. Develop and achieve MBO’s tied to areas of responsibility including but not limited to Business Planning, Operational Management, IDN/GPO strategy/Focus and Sales Quota Attainment. The candidate must be able to show demonstrated ability to identify, develop and close new sales opportunities, while consulting with the Director of Sales to enhance our selling strategy, sales process, and sales training. Our Sales Specialists/Account Managers call on Anesthesiologists, Respiratory Therapists, Procurement, EMS agencies and other ancillary services providing care for patients in a variety of settings. They also work with our distribution partners for success in our marketplace.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.
- Manage assigned region / territory to ensure achievement of sales / revenue goals working within established budget.
- Develop and Achieve MBO’s tied to specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to Business planning, Operational management, Dealer management, IDN / GPO strategy and focus Sales quota attainment.
- Oversees feedback collection process and associated actions that result from product demonstrations, customer in-services and physician proctoring events.
- Consults with Director to enhance our sales strategy, sales process and sales training of our Channel Partners / Distributors and any organization that represents the Mercury Medical product line(s).
- Assists with the development of reference accounts and study sites.
- Serves as liaison between manufacturing and engineering on product features and future product development.
- Assists Channel Partner / Distributor and their representatives in prospect identification, prospect qualification and the sales process.
- Understands competition and assists in the development of sales tools to demonstrate competitive analysis.
- Oversees training of clinical educators to present features, benefits and clinical information to customer in order to support the sales function.
- Participates in Regional and National trade shows as required.
- Submits required reporting and communication in a timely manner.
- Responds to change positively and productively.
