Role: Application Support Analyst
Duration: Contract to hire

Client Location: Downtown LA 90015
The position is hybrid 4 times a week onsite and 1 day remote.

Application support or troubleshooting
- Provide ongoing user support, troubleshooting errors, fixing mapping and formula error on reports and financial input templates; escalating issues to vendor when necessary.
- Help create and maintain FP&A reports and input templates as directed by manager to help with maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Maintain hierarchies and process cycles in Financial Planning Systems by learning and studying the logic and rules to maintain the system.
- Work with management to gain clear knowledge of training methods and assist with creation and maintenance of training manuals and documentation. Perform basic training for end users as needed.
- Assist system users with testing when rolling out new features/reports/templates.
- Create new process cycles, upload new version data, and maintain data integrity.
- Create and maintain user accounts.
- Complete ad hoc projects as needed and/or directed.
Required Qualifications:
- A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree (4-year) in Business/Accounting/Computer Science/Information Systems
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Strong verbal & written communication skills
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with SQL or Hyperion Essbase is a plus
- Previous experience in a support role preferred
- Knowledge of financial planning systems (like Vena, Longview, etc.) and understanding of OLAP and relational databases are a plus

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
