Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including evaluation, assessment, and treatment planning
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and goals
- Utilize medical terminology and anatomy knowledge to accurately assess and diagnose patients
- Administer therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities to improve patient outcomes
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure optimal outcomes
- Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-care techniques, and home exercise programs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist
- Experience in acute care and pediatrics is preferred
- Knowledge of trigger point therapy and physiology is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
