Summary: To be directly involved in Guest Services in all capacities following corporate and hotel guidelines. This position ensures that the highest quality of guest service and satisfaction is provided to our guests.
Essential Functions:

Direct Guest interaction to ensure the highest quality of guest service is being provided.

Skin Care Esthetician will provide exceptional customer service for guests of the Spa, while performing facial and waxing services.

Complete client charts and file them appropriately.

Answer all guests questions and concerns and ensuring that all communication is professional and friendly
-
Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency and /or heavy hotel activity. File guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results by using good judgment and discretion.

Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, address the guest by name, and listen carefully to understand requests, respond with appropriate action and provide accurate information.

Communicate effectively to provide clear direction to other associates and Guests.

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry and report deadlines, employee may be required to work varying schedules to meet the business needs of the hotel and report deadlines. This may include weekends and holidays.

Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply with hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Employees who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Report all suspicious persons or actions, hazardous conditions, etc. to Security or Management immediately.

Assist in other areas of the spa where applicable.

Adhere to grooming guidelines set by hotel.

Must be available to work nights, weekends and holidays as needed.

Must maintain a sanitized neat and well-stocked room.

Operate the equipment safely to administer skin rejuvenation treatments, with the specific guidelines of the manufacturer

Attends monthly departmental meetings and workshops as directed.

Education: Applicant must be a graduate of an accredited skin care school with a current state license.
Experience: Two or more years experience as an esthetician and customer service experience preferred.
