Stone counter top and mirror / shower glass showroom is looking for a new showroom Project Coordinator. The qualified candidate for our fast-paced office should work be a quick learner, friendly, organized and computer literate. Stone industry experience is required.
CUSTOMER COMMUNICATIONS: Project Coordinators are the customer's point of contact throughout their experience with Jubilee Company, from start to finish! People skills are paramount.
- Selections: Project Coordinators help customers make selections on counter tops, shower walls, shower doors, cabinet door glass and mirrors. Product knowledge is imperative to lead the customer to the material that meets their functional needs, look and budget.
- Data Entry: Must type reasonably well. We keep all of our job files in a web based software system, we type all of our bids, and there are lots of emails.
- Generating bids: Some math skills are required for this task. Project coordinators are responsible for working up pricing, typing the bids and presenting them to customers for approval.
- Collecting deposit information: When a project is approved, the sales assistant is responsible for contacting the customer for payment information and relaying that to our accounts receivable department for processing.
- Keep job files: A neat and organized job file is to be kept by the sales assistant for each project that is in progress. All information is to be uploaded to our web based tracking system as it is received.
- Processing fabrication orders: The Project Coordinator generates requests for all measurements and templates on their projects. When the templates are completed, the field tech turns in the job ticket to the Project Coordinator. The Project Coordinator then processes the ticket and turns the order over to the fabrication department.
- Follow up and balance information: When each job is completed, the Project Coordinator is to contact the customer to make sure that they are happy with the products and services. Arrangements for the balance of the invoices are discussed at this time and sent to accounts receivable for processing.
Other duties include, but are not limited to:
- General showroom upkeep: We all pitch in to keep the showroom looking great between professional cleaning days. This usually consists of things like collecting and reorganizing samples left out by customers, emptying garbage bins and restocking the coffee station.
- Assisting other sales staff: There are currently three Project Coordinators on our team. While we each manages their own jobs, sometimes a teammate needs a hand. Our first priority is always taking care of the customer.
Hours are Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Additional Saturday hours are available and sometimes required to catch up on paperwork. There is potential to earn commissions on eligible projects after training is completed. Excellent customer service skills, basic computer knowledge, basic math skills and stone industry experience is required.
