Receptionist/Customer Service Representative
Job Purpose: To drive the flow of clients & patients, through the hospital, communicate with clients & associates, and provide exceptional client service, by catering to client & patient needs.
- Previous veterinary experience is preferred.
Duties:
- Welcoming clients to the practice, in a friendly & efficient manner.
- Answer phone calls; identify patient's & clients needs.
- Make phone calls, book appointments, confirm appointments, & follow-up.
- Be professional, courteous, and provide exceptional client experience.
- Manage finances by handling money, balancing cash drawer, and proper opening & closing procedures.
- Assist clients by providing necessary instructions, explaining invoices, and selling retail products.
- Be comfortable with pets (Dogs, Cats) of all sizes & breeds.
- Must be able to restrain pets, stand for a longer period of time, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must have computer skills like Microsoft word, excel, and computerized medical records.
- Experience with AVImark software is preferred.
- Must have organizational & problem solving skills, patience, attention to detail & verbal communication.
- Must be willing to work special hours like weekend & evenings. Flexibility in schedule is required.
