- Modern office setting.
- Be proficient in ASAM assessment criteria and proper program referrals.
- Assists the Program Director with the design and development of the clinical
aspects of program services.
- Meets every other week with program counselors to provide clinical guidance, assesses dynamics and
needs of each case, determines the appropriateness of therapeutic strategies, and assess progress of service delivery and treatment plans and facilitates monthly peer supervision meetings.
- Reviews client files to ensure proper and complete documentation of actions and services.
- Assists the Program Director in evaluating staff performance.
- Facilitates wraparound team meetings and collaborates with other service providers to enlist existing supports in determining and meeting service objectives and to identify additional resources and supports.
- Provides direct clinical services to clients, including individual, family, couple, and group therapy, and
issue-specific or educational groups (parenting skills, anger management, substance abuse interventions).
- Responds to crisis situations with twenty-four hour a day availability.
- Ensures accuracy of documentation of case activities for both clinical and billing purposes. Prepares progress reports as required by referral source or service purchaser.
- Prepares written Discharge Summary and Plan apprises Clinical Director of the state of clinical services, its staff, and its needs and solicits his assistance in implementing solutions to problems.
- Be proficient in multidimensional assessment (ASAM) as a theoretical framework for each individual, utilizing a person-centered approach. Assessment should include:
o Acute intoxication or withdrawal potential, or both;
o Biomedical conditions and complications;
o Emotional, behavioral, or cognitive conditions and complications;
o Readiness to change;
o Relapse, continued use, or continued problem potential; and
o Recovery/living environment.
- Clinical competence in working with individuals with Co-occurring addictive and Mental Health Disorders.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $53,374.00 - $56,737.00 per year
