Position Overview:
We are looking for a dynamic Project Manager to oversee the entire lifecycle of residential construction projects. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure that projects meet or exceed expectations in terms of budget, timeline, and quality. This role builds upon the responsibilities outlined for the Residential Construction Superintendent, incorporating additional elements to manage projects effectively and deliver exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Interaction: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and satisfaction throughout the construction process.
- Project Oversight: Manage the entire lifecycle of new home construction projects, from planning and design to completion, ensuring adherence to quality standards, timelines, and budgets.
- Quality Control: Maintain a relentless focus on quality, conducting regular inspections to ensure that construction meets Bedrock Homes' high standards.
- Attention to Detail: Demonstrate meticulous attention to detail in project planning, execution, and problem-solving.
- Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage resources, including labor, materials, and equipment, to optimize project efficiency.
- Buildertrend Experience: Utilize Buildertrend software to streamline project management processes and enhance communication with stakeholders.
- Problem Resolution: Identify and address project issues promptly, implementing solutions to keep projects on track.
- Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality and performance standards.
- New Home Orientation: Conduct pre-construction orientation with buyers to establish a positive relationship and rapport.
- Continuous Improvement: Strive towards high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and follow-through with the sales team and buyers while building high-quality homes on time.
- Budget Management: Work with the VP of Construction to keep job costs on budget, approve purchase orders, and report any wastage promptly.
- Technology Proficiency: Must be proficient in smartphone and computer usage to effectively manage project-related communications and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven hands on experience as a Project Manager in residential construction, with a focus on custom projects.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
- Passion for building high-quality products and a commitment to excellence.
- Exceptional organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- 'Do whatever it takes' attitude and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with Buildertrend software is a plus but training will be provided.
