Full Time Apartment Maintenance Technician
The Calhoun Housing Authority is seeking a self-motivated, responsible individual with a high customer service standards and strong work ethic for a Full Time Apartment Maintenance Technician.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Apartment Maintenance Technician responds to resident requests for service and prepares recently vacated apartment home for occupancy.
In addition to other duties as assigned, typical duties include:
Appliance installation repair/maintenance (including but not limited to refrigerator, stove/range (gas and electric), microwave, dishwasher), interior and exterior painting, drywall repair, minor carpentry, vacant unit trash out, preventive maintenance (filter changes, systems serving, etc.), minor HVAC maintenance/repair, minor electrical maintenance/repair, minor plumbing maintenance/repair, computerized work order entry and after hours/emergency maintenance.
On-call (Emergency/After Hours) required (rotating schedule).

Additional Qualifications
Including but not limited to:
Minimum 2 years' experience in apartment maintenance or related field
Ability to perform in a busy, multi-tasking work environment
Valid driver's license

Pay range $18.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience.
