Seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to manage weekly and bi-weekly payrolls across multiple states. This role requires meticulous attention to compliance regulations and the ability to navigate varied compensation structures.
Responsibilities:
- Manage payroll administration, compliance, and reporting.
- Oversee hourly and salaried payrolls for union and non-union employees.
- Process multi-state payroll adjustments, benefits, commissions, garnishments, and taxes.
- Maintain accurate employee payroll records and handle inquiries.
- Conduct pre-processing analysis and resolve issues.
- Prepare payroll reports for accounting and HR.
- Ensure compliance with payroll laws and maintain confidentiality.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 5 years of payroll administration experience.
- Proficiency in payroll taxes and intermediate Excel skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively.
Preferred Skills:
- Proficiency in Google Drive and Microsoft Office suite.
- Experience with ADP, Concur, and NetSuite preferred.
- Positive attitude, team player mentality, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
