Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Office Assistant (MA, EMT, or CNA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support in a primary care and wellness office setting, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Duties:
- Assist healthcare providers in clinic
- Perform patient intake, including vital signs and medical history documentation
- Order lab orders per protocol
-Phlebotomy
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation
- Collect patient bloodwork samples in office
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Utilize anatomy knowledge to assist with patient assessments
-IV Infusion Experience (preferred)
Qualifications:
- Bilingual ( English and Spanish) Spanish requires proficient conversational skill
- Completion of a Medical Assistant program, EMT Program, or CNA program, or equivalent certification
- Experience working in a fast-paced medical environment
- Proficiency in medical terminology and Electronic Medical Records
- Strong patient care skills with a focus on compassion and empathy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with healthcare professionals
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Knowledge of medical-surgical procedures
- More than 1 Year Experience in a clinic, hospital, or outpatient setting
