RN Clinical Supervisor - Full-time
Summary:
- Ensures the quality and safe delivery of home health services.
- Performs client care when necessary.
- Coordinates clinical services assuring compliance with standards of care, Agency policies/procedures and external regulations.
- Communicates and records client and agency information with staff. Coordinates multidisciplinary case conferences, professional in-services and staff meetings.
- Represents the Agency in the community. Provides line supervision of all nursing staff, therapy staff and home health aides. Reports to the Director of Clinical Services.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Currently licensed as a registered nurse eligible to practice in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum of one year experience in a Medicare-certified home health agency, supervisory experience preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of home health nursing and/or outpatient services preferred.
- Willing and able to meet the agency need for professional nursing services.
- Positive, professional interpersonal skills.
- Meets CEU requirements for licensure, health and malpractice requirements demanded of all clinical/field staff who provide service through the agency.
Essential Job Functions and Physical Requirements:
- Able to interact successfully with members of the medical profession.
- Must be able to communicate both verbally and in writing with superiors, physicians, field staff, office personnel, field staff, and clients/families.
- Must be able to operate an automobile.
- Possesses excellent customer relation skills.
- Able to lift / transfer / push / pull up to 250 pounds infrequently using assistive techniques and devices appropriate to manage the task.
- Must be able to complete multi-tasks and meet multi-deadlines.
- Able to work in a stressful environment.
- Able to report for work on a regularly scheduled basis.
- Has effective time management and excellent organizational skills.
- Has access to personal transportation.
- Able to use a telephone, see and hear sufficiently without the use of extraordinary assistive devices.
- Must be able to successfully provide effective team support for both office and field staff.
