Overview:
We're seeking a strategic Social Media Manager who goes beyond merely posting aesthetically pleasing images. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of online behavior, the mechanics of viral content, and strategies to maintain user engagement. They will lead the creation of social media plans that captivate audiences and guide them towards making a purchase.
Our primary focus is on car covers designed to protect the prized possessions of weekend car enthusiasts, especially those aged 50 and older. Additionally, we have recently introduced new seat covers, catering to a broader audience.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive social media strategy to attract clients. Consider the entire customer journey and identify opportunities to engage and convert at each stage.
- Content Creation: Collaborate with the creative team to develop engaging content that resonates with the target audience. Beyond visuals, focus on creating compelling narratives and hooks that drive action.
- Community Engagement: Build relationships, address inquiries, create gamification initiatives, and encourage user-generated content.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns. Use insights to refine strategies and continuously optimize performance.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, with a strong portfolio showcasing strategic achievements.
- Ability to commute to Norwalk Monday-Friday.
- (Optional) Basic skills in video shooting and editing.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
