About the Role
Our Operations Supervisor is an reliable anchor for the AM team, opening the facility early each morning, preparing our shipments for outbound, and receiving our high-quality, sustainable and regenerative meats. This is a supervisory role with huge potential for growth as Cream Co. builds a community focused on quality and impact.
This person supervised a small team on the day-to-day functioning of our fulfillment center. You'll have a range of duties that help get great food to our customers, detailed below.
This role requires:
- Inventory Management
- Accurately receive product physically into the warehouse and digitally via our internal tools
- Stow and organize on-hand product and materials
- Maintain accurate inventory by performing inventory cycle counts and following FIFO procedures
- Help manage product availability
- Communicate process and quality feedback to internal teams
- Work to find creative solutions to reduce waste and keep inventory organized
- Prepare and manage all required shipping documentation
- Create solutions for any-and-all transportation issues
- Product preparation including: weighing and separating product, marking product with identifying information
- Spending extended periods of time in cold or frozen storage zones
- Maintaining quality of service by following operational and safety standards
- Perform general clean up of all areas of the building as directed
- Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests
- Organize the paperwork and information necessary both to ship and receive products
- Supervise our driving team as they stage, load, and leave for delivery each morning

- Be able to operate material handling equipment (fork trucks, pallet jacks)
- Have previous forklift experience.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
- Be the earliest riser of them all

- Personal attire appropriate to work in walk-in coolers and freezers (temperatures as low as -10°F)

Compensation and Benefits:
- This position is a full time 40+ hours per week position. M-F
- Base Pay: $55,000 - $65,000

- 10 days PTO accrued per year after 90 day waiting period
- Per Oakland Sick Leave Measure FF, all employees can accrue a maximum 72 hours (9 business days) of sick leave annually accrued at 1 hr. per 30 hours worked

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
