Job Summary
As the Regional Director of Sales, East you will report directly to the VP of sales and business development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the electronics components industry, proven leadership abilities, and a strong track record in strategic sales management. This role involves significant responsibility, including managing a diverse team of sales professionals and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and achieve strategic objectives.
You will be responsible for ensuring that sales budgets and MBO goals are met and adhere to approved budgets. You will act as both an individual contributor and as the first level manager for your team and will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your team. As the Regional Director of Sales, East you will provide both sales and technical guidance for the eastern region sales team while support and delivering technical recommendations to our clients.
Responsibilities:

Manage and develop sales plans for a team of account managers

Focus on long-term planning and selling of a variety of products, services, and/or solutions across multiple lines of business for a defined group of existing clients.

Ensure account managers meet ongoing needs of clients and prospects while accomplishing individual revenue goals

Manage major accounts, matrix management of ISR, FSR, and SME functions

Set sales targets and quotas

Make suggestions for product improvements or expanding sales channels

15% in-territory travel required
Required Experience:
