Regional Human Resources Manager (Bilingual)

Location
This hybrid-traveling position is located out of the Millwood Inc. facility nearest the selected candidate’s residence and is intended to be up to 50% travel-based, with no less than 25% remote work.
Reporting Relationships
The Regional Human Resources Manager will report to the Human Resources Compliance Manager, is a member of the Unit Load Business Unit (ULBU) Safety & HR Team and will work closely with the Facility Leadership and Teams within the subject region, and Acquisition Teams.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The Regional Human Resources Manager (Bilingual) is responsible for the primary oversight and management of all Human Resources functions within a defined region. This bilingual position also serves as the primary liaison for HR and Safety Activities between English-speaking and Spanish speaking Team Members at Millwood, bridging the language gap in a multi-cultural work environment.

Projects include:
- Assists in development and implementation of strategic employee programs that support corporate foundation.
- Maintains primary oversight and management of all Human Resources functions within a defined region.
- Provides guidance to supervisory management of legal and ethical employment practices and advises supervisory management of employment hiring and termination procedures in order to assure compliance with company policy and employment practices law.
· Understanding employment immigration as it relates to J-1 and H-1B non-immigrant visas, permanent residency sponsorship, and the hiring of foreign nationals in the U.S.
- Provides training and support to Plant Administrators on HR, Onboarding, S&R, inventory controls, safety program requirements, accident reporting, documentation, and system input (ADP, PRISM, GP, etc.).
- Provides guidance, interpretation, and implementation of corporate training programs, employee handbooks, policies & procedures and other strategic employee programs that support corporate foundation.
- Administers company HRIS systems activities and record retention requirements.
- Assists in the recruiting and retention of the Spanish-speaking workforce throughout all Whitewood facilities, to include promoting positive employee relations, employee retention programs, benefits administration and compliance management.
- Ensures proper linguistic translation is achieved for facility leadership and administrators, and completion of all initial and recurring Onboarding, Benefits, Policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and Safety Training, within the defined region.
- Supports the HR/Safety SBU by assisting the HR Acquisition Specialist during the first phase of acquisition and startup activities by conducting in-person interviews and administering virtual hiring events.
- Supports the HR/Safety SBU by delivering Spanish-based initial, annual, and change-of-scope safety training, accident investigations, LOTO, emergency response and evacuation, and safe forklift operation training.
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field
· Five+ years of experience in a Human Resources-specific role, to include, HR Manager, HR Business Partner, HR Generalist, Corporate Recruiter, or similar
· 2-4 years of experience, with a solid understanding of U.S. immigration
· I-9 experience preferred, familiarity with an I-9 program like E-Verify
· Experience in supporting complex immigration processes and projects
· Familiarity with ADP preferred
· Maintain strong relationships with key vendors during off-season
SHRM, HRCI or related HR certification- preferred

Pay: $80,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
