Supermarket Execution Supervisor
We are seeking a dynamic and driven individual to join our team as a Supermarket Execution Supervisor. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of activities within our network of supermarket stores in the west territory. Your mission will be to uphold Mexilink's brand standards and optimize operational performance. As a critical member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in driving retail excellence.
The individual in this role would need to be proficient in data analysis, communication, collaboration, and project management. You would also need to stay updated on market trends and competition to make informed recommendations and decisions. YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
Store Evaluation and Compliance:
· Conduct comprehensive store audits and evaluations to ensure adherence to Mexilink's brand standards.
· Guarantee seamless alignment of store activities with brand guidelines and initiatives.
· Champion a brand-immersive environment that resonates with customers and enhances loyalty.
Performance Metrics and Insights:
· Lead weekly, monthly, and quarterly store reviews, utilizing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for evaluation.
· Analyze store profitability, categorize stores based on performance, and assess traffic and sales potential.
· Provide actionable insights that guide decisions.
Promotions and Brand Advocacy:
· Verify accurate execution of promotions at the point of sale, in line with agreements made by sales and merchandising teams.
· Effectively communicate brand initiatives using the "Implementation Execution Guide."
· Play a pivotal role in amplifying brand messaging and consistency throughout the customer journey.
Driving Company Initiatives:
· Collaborate with regional management to implement store plans and priorities.
· Align with promotional planners for each brand to integrate company initiatives.
· Foster a culture of alignment and shared purpose throughout the region.
Collaborative Execution and Communication:
· Work closely with regional management to execute store plans and improve merchandising goals.
· Maintain a programmed schedule of store visits and adapt scheduling as needed.
· Ensure consistent pricing alignment and conduct client audits to adhere to brand guidelines.
Insights, Innovation, and Customer-Centricity:
· Identify emerging market trends and new products that resonate with customers.
· Utilize technology tools to generate reports and analyses, providing data-driven recommendations.
· Contribute to decision-making through proactive insights.
Competition Awareness:
· Monitor local competitors for promotional activities, innovation, and brand activation.
YOU SHOULD HAVE:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or related field is needed.
· Previous field expertise (minimum of 5 years of field experience).
· Proven experience in retail management, brand compliance, or related roles.
· Bi-lingual (English – Spanish) is a must.
· Knowledge of the Supermarket landscape of the geographical area in which this position will operate.
· Must possess a valid driving license.
· Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret performance metrics.
· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Proficiency in using computers (Microsoft Office Suite), apps, and software for reporting and analysis.
· Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage a dynamic workload.
· Strong understanding of market trends and customer preferences.
· Demonstrated leadership capabilities and the ability to drive initiatives.
· Must be able to work for 8 hours a day on the field, sometimes in office environments, and operate a vehicle.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
· Capable of lifting at least 50lbs.
· Capable of driving for long periods of time.
· Ability to concentrate in front a computer for some periods of time.
· Capable of moving and lifting heavy objects such as (cases of products, pallets, displays, etc.)
· Skin may be in contact with some of the following products: cleansing products and personal safety products such as sanitizing gel, and towelettes.
· Must wear protective gloves, face masks, and other protective equipment deemed necessary by MXL, by the customers, or by City or State Government. Capable of securely use corrugate cutters, scissors, and other materials or tools needed to execute daily merchandising chores at store level or at warehouse environments.
