Biogas Maintenance Technician and Operator
Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced Mechanical technician to join our team in Dalhart, TX. As a mechanic and field operation member, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the equipment for operations of our main gas processing facility and supporting systems in the area. This is a critical role that requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and the ability to effectively coordinate and communicate with team members.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Ensure efficient and effective maintenance services of all plant assets (Including servicing, troubleshooting, fault finding and repairs) to ensure the safety, reliability and operational effectiveness of all related digester and control systems
- Ensure daily, weekly and monthly reporting requirements are met.
- Ensure that all control systems are kept in good order and are regularly inspected and maintained in accordance with health and safety requirements.
- Inspect entire facility to identify faults, maintain, service, replace parts and repair equipment as directed in accordance with the manufacturer recommendations and schedule.
- Plan, coordinate and execute work in an organized, safe and effective manner to meet schedule, budget, and customer’s expectations.
- Provide emergency call out services for when we have equipment failure (rotating on call with Mechanical lead)
- Work beyond official hours as and when required.
- Interact in a professional way with on-site personnel and management.
- May do other work incidental to maintenance.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Past experience in biogas, oil, or natural gas production desired but not necessary.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Ability to plan and organize daily work routine. Establishes priorities for the completion of work in accordance with sound time-management methodology.
- Detail oriented.
- Foresight to anticipate and correct problems before they happen.
- Experience working with digesters and associated equipment desired but not necessary.
- Displays a positive attitude, is highly motivated, and is results oriented.
- Willing to drive moderate distances.
- Ability to perform emergency call outs, weekends and holidays as required.
- Driver’s license with good driving record.

Pay: $24.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
Work Location: In person
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Rotating weekends
- Weekends as needed
Ability to Relocate:
- Dalhart, TX: Depending on current location, relocation allocation may be available for the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 48 per week
