Invoice Clerk
As an invoice clerk, your responsibilities include:
1. Updating Client Information:
o Ensuring that client details are accurate and up-to-date.
2. Creating and Sending Invoices:
o Generating invoices and statements for customers.
o Checking data input to ensure the accuracy of the final bill.
3. Payment Tracking:
o Monitoring payments and ensuring a healthy cash flow into the company.
4. Reporting Irregularities:
o Identifying and reporting any billing issues or irregularities to the financial head of the company.
5. Logistics Coordination:
o Collaborating with the logistics department to ensure timely dispatch of goods.
Requirements for an Invoice Clerk:
· Education: High school diploma or GED.
· Experience:
o At least two years of clerical office or administration experience.
o An associate’s degree in accounting is preferred.
o Experience as an invoice clerk or in general accounting is advantageous.
· Skills:
o Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and working knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks).
o Excellent mathematics and problem-solving abilities.
o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
o Ability to work in a fast pace environment
o Ability to adapt to changes quickly
o Pack orders that will allow for proper transportation to customer
o Capability to work independently or as part of a team.
You will ensure smooth financial processes, accurate billing, and excellent communication with clients. May be lifting from 5lbs - 50lbs. You will also be on your feet all day long so you need to wear comfortable, closed toed shoes. If you’re considering this role, make sure to demonstrate a strong work ethic and attention to detail! Monday - Friday 8am-5:30pm; OT will be required based on production needs.
