Carroll Motor Fuels is searching for a skilled Billing and Inventory Specialist to join our team to help process, track, and record payments in an accurate, efficient, and timely manner. The Billing and Inventory Specialist will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on financial transactions, keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued customers.
This position will be onsite at our Corporate Headquarters in Sparks, MD located off York Road with quick access to nearby Hunt Valley Towne Centre and I-83.

Objectives:
· Optimize our fuel transactions and systems by organizing, reconciling, and processing all deliveries of product daily for the purpose of billing customers, and reconciling customer accounts which include customer invoices from multiple sources, e.g., email, electronic data interchange (EDI), supplier portal and or fax.
· Communicate discrepancies to management team, identify possible theft, and product discrepancies.
· Enter price overrides for deals and price quotes and add miscellaneous fees associated with the delivery.
· Strengthen and grow relationships with clients by proactively communicating with other departments regarding customer accounts.
· Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing products and supplies.
· Exercise integrity and confidentiality in financial reporting and comply with financial requirements.
Qualifications:
Required skills and qualifications:
· Strong mathematical skills
· Understanding of basic principles of finance, accounting, and bookkeeping.
· Superb time management and detail orientation.
· Proficiency with Google Drive and Microsoft Office Suite.
· Ability to keep company and partner confidences.
· Willingness to learn, attention to detail, strong work ethic and team building skills.
· Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and one of the commonly used accounting ERP systems, such as Oracle, SAP, NetSuite and proprietary applications.
· Ability to work one weekend a month, if necessary.
Preferred skills and qualifications:
· An associate degree in finance or accounting or equivalent.
· Experience in billing, inventory reconciliation, accounts receivable and/or accounts payable.
· Some knowledge of energy industry accounting and petroleum products is preferred, but not required, will train the right candidate.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
