Position Summary
The Sales Solution Engineer is responsible for assisting the sales team as a technical product expert and a client solution consultant for new client implementations. This position services as a strong and influential ambassador for Hexure throughout the sales process, assisting new clients in understanding how to best implement and leverage our solutions to solve their business needs.

Deliverables and Performance Measures:
- Support the Sales team by providing clients technical advice and assisting with system implementation solutions.
- Collaborate with clients and sales in defining workflows, integrations, and implementation requirements to provide optimally effective business solutions.
- Partner in the creation of proposals and requirements documentation.
- Assist with and follow through with all RFPs/RFIs submitted to the Company in a timely and thorough manner.
- Respond to technical questions and participate in calls with clients and sales team to answer questions regarding our technology and security in relation to proposed solutions.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams to generate estimates and cost proposals for implementation work requests based on client requirements and proposed solutions.
- Assist with the transfer of the client from the sales process to the implementation process by helping the project manager and development teams understand the scope, requirements and specifications from the proposal.
- Partner in creating and defining the demo environments and demo scripts, working closely with Sales and Marketing teams.
- Obtain a deep understanding of Hexure’s products and processes; proactively stay informed of product features, capabilities, and roadmap.
- Use active listening to understand prospects’ requirements, business and strategic goals, and communicate understanding to internal teams.
- Adapts easily across sales, marketing, operations, and technology in order to be credible and relevant across the clients’ functional areas.
- Proactively stay versed on industry trends and work collaboratively to apply them to product or process improvements for clients and Hexure.
- Work with Development, Project Management, Product Management, and Sales teams to ensure that both the client’s and Company’s requirements are met.
- Collaboratively work with internal teams to pre-plan and strategize for upcoming industry and lead generation events.
- Actively participate in industry events, working groups and associations to build networks as well as the Company’s reputation as an industry expert.
What Will Make You Successful:
- 2+ years of experience in technical sales, requirements documentation, running deep dive demos, on-site presentations, etc. required.
- 2+ years of SaaS Solution Engineer/Consultant experience required.
- 2+ years of experience in the insurance or financial services industry or comparable (highly regulated & complex) industries required.
- Insuretech or Fintech experience preferred.
- General knowledge and experience with all Microsoft Office products and Salesforce CRM preferred.
- Knowledge of ACORD Life standards is preferred.
- Functional knowledge of B2B systems integrations preferred.
- Knowledge of Hexure solutions is a BONUS!

This position can move into several roles within the company including positions within sales, product, or client delivery.
Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position with regular office hours Monday through Friday. While we try to accommodate different time zones, this position works with clients all over the country which could require days that start at 8AM EST and days that end at 5PM PST. This position may require work on the weekends, depending on work demands. This is definitely an exception, but may occur on occasion. Travel is required for this role approximately 4-8 times a year depending on client needs.
