Quality Control Inspector
SPECIFIC TO JOB:
· Create / revise receiving inspections Quality Plans, as directed
· Using latest QP, conduct receiving inspections - visual, dimensional and/or functional testing, if any is required and complete receiving records
· Perform first piece /article inspections on new / revised parts including generating reports using designated templates
· Provide inspection support during new part validations of new or modified molds
· Set-up and operate test equipment as required, to accurately test and measure received, in-process and final products
· Able to accurately measure with the use of hand-held tools: micrometers, calipers, height gages, use of Jo- blocks, pin gages, taper gages, thread gages, 6” rule etc.
· Assist in the following APQP/PPAP activities – identification of samples used, creating bubble prints, create and/or run Keyence programs for inspections, perform initial process and measurement system analysis studies, preparing samples for shipment, labeling packages etc.
· Read, interpret and apply engineering and process documentation and workmanship standards, as required
· Perform quality system internal audits and record results per ISO9001 Standard, according to annual schedule assigned, including desk audits of Quality files (monthly)
· Assist in carrying out Layered Process Audits (LPA) in Production, as assigned
· Lead and/or perform final inspection as part of containment action for customer complaints or rejections, as deemed necessary, including reporting of results and/or accurately transacting in IQMS
· Documents non-conformance on TNT’s Non-Conformance Report (NCMR) neatly and accurately, explaining the nature of the non-conformance such that the appropriate personnel can understand the problem/s
· Move non-conforming parts and/or sub-assemblies, to designated areas
· Maintain all required inspection records in receiving, in-process, final and first article inspections as performed
· Serve as back-up inspector in Secondary Operations and Shift QC Inspector, as needed
· Perform other functions, as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
