Vice President, Inventory & Supply Chain

Responsibilities:
-
Develop/implement the overall inventory and supply chain strategy.
-
Define/Implement system methods, processes, and best practices aimed at supporting demand planning/purchasing/logistics.
-
Develop annual plan and manage weekly/monthly/annual inventory metrics.
-
Collaborate with suppliers on processes and procedures, service performance, forecasts, production schedules, inventory levels/visibility.
-
Define and implement product life cycle strategy.
-
Collaborate with distribution team to set new product standards.
-
Oversee planning/analyzing of sales, receipts, and inventory supporting product line review planning.
-
Plan inventory flow to support sales in all channels, making readjustments as needed. Identify appropriate actions to maximize inventory productivity.

Strategically plan/manage logistics and transportation methods/costs.
-
Mentor, educate, and develop staff.

Collaborate across all internal organizations.
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor’s degree in operations, mathematics, supply chain, or similar field of study preferred.

Advanced knowledge of forecasting software and transportation management systems.

Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
-
Min. 5 years in a leadership role with direct experience in supply chain, ideally in a manufacturing or retail business.

Strong leadership capabilities with proven ability to manage and develop teams and quickly drive change.

Proven experience managing teams of 4+ direct reports.

In-depth knowledge of supply chain management, logistics, purchasing, materials and inventory management, forecasting, and replenishment systems.

Demonstrated process and project improvement skills.
-
Demonstrated ability to synthesize and interpret financial data, apply decision making, summarize, and effectively present.
