Position Purpose
The DMV Administrator is responsible for processing all new and used vehicle sales paperwork and make all appropriate accounting entries for all new and used vehicle sales transactions daily, in line with the organization’s, the manufacturer’s and legal and regulatory expectations and generally accepted business and accounting practices.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit and process new and used vehicle DMV paperwork in a timely manner and in accordance with DMV regulations.
- Reconcile bundles upon receipt; make adjusting entries and process refund checks.
- Collect insufficient fees and report uncollected fees to the General Sales Manager prior to writing them off.
- Audit completeness and authenticity of vehicle titles.
- Prepare “Heat Sheet” report to keep management informed of issues.
- Reconcile DMV Payable account weekly.
- Keep current with DMV regulations and educate affected personnel, alerting management when there is concern regarding compliance.
- Answer customer inquiries regarding registration, transfers, and all other DMV concerns.
- Assist wholesale desk especially for out of state titles and any DMV questions.
- Administer the BPA program.
- Adhere to work schedule and arrive at work before your scheduled start time and be at your work station productively engaged by the scheduled time.
- Complies with all safety rules and use all appropriate safety and personal protection equipment as required.
- Safeguard customer and Dealer information per established policy.
- Exemplifies organizational culture and holds others in department accountable for doing the same.
- Accomplishes all current and future tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
- Other related duties as may be assigned.

Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
