Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our preschool. This position requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities:
- Greet visitors, parents and guardians and provide them with a warm welcome
- Answer phone calls and answer any questions the caller may have
- Schedule classroom tours and maintain calendars
- Assist with data entry and record keeping
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Perform general administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents
- Provide administrative support to directors as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a front desk or administrative role is preferred
- Strong typing skills with the ability to transcribe accurately
- Proficient in computerized systems and software (e.g., Google Suite, Microsoft Office)
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
