We are currently accepting applications for a Medical Assistant position at our primary care and pediatrics clinic.
Medical Assistant's primary duties will include but are not limited to:
- Front Office: Scheudule appts, Confirm Appts, Understant Insurance, Check-In and Out Patients.
- Creating relationships with patients by giving excellent customer service
- Preparing and maintaining exam rooms in a clean and orderly manner
- Taking patient chief complaints and vitals
- Assisting physicians with a wide range of tasks that are related to patient care
- Taking vitals and preparing patients for their clinical exams
- Drawing blood, giving injections, and performing EKG’s
- Preventive Measures/UDS
- work with Pediatric patients, adults and geriatric patients
Qualifications include:
- One year experience (preferred) as a Medical Assistant preferably in a primary care setting with pediatric and Adults.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
- Excellent customer service skills
- Electronic Medical Records proficiency
- Some software skills are required, including familiarity with Excel, MS Office programs, and Gmail, as well as internet research abilities
- The desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- The ability to communicate clearly to patients and fellow staff members both verbally and in writing
- Bilingual (Spanish)
Educational Requirement:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Medical Assistant Certificate/Diploma
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
