Pentagon Technologies Group, Inc. provides technical services and products to customers within the Semiconductor Industry. We are seeking an experienced Sub Fab Project Manager to join our team.
Job Summary:
As a key member of the Project Execution Team the Sub Fab Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the build out of the floor housing, equipment, and utilities supporting the clean room tools. You will be responsible for ensuring the project's successful completion on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of layout dependent utility racks and is proficient in tool sets, structural steel, clean room architecture and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. The role requires interaction with key stakeholders including customer staff, facility owners, central design and site construction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participation in design reviews, providing feedback to contracted engineering firms, and providing input to design package schedules to support an integrated construction schedule.
- Daily coordination with additional PM’s/ System Owners to enable key transition of construction phases.
- Participates in bid evaluation and selection process for construction awards.
- Responsible for performance management of contracted construction resources including coordination with construction resources to manage discipline schedule and budget.
- Ensures accuracy of estimation scope of work and linkage to project schedules. Manages the budget, forecasts trades resources, resolves resource conflicts, and coordinates trades mobilization.
- Engage in contract and legal negotiations, incident investigations, safety training and project assessment.
- Responsible for the safe and successful completion instrumentation and controls scope of work to ensure projects are completed with the highest degree of accuracy and success.
Experience & Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- 10 years of experience with construction, startup, and turnover of facilities mechanical systems would be an added advantage.
- Experience managing general contractor scope of work is highly desirable.
- PMP certified is a plus.
- Effective with reading and interpreting construction contract documents.
- Ability to work effectively within a variety of management levels, between the customer and the contractors, as well as outside clients and vendors.
- Effective at problem-solving, include problem-solving methodologies, research strategies, logical reasoning, critical analysis of information and cooperative learning.
- Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Strong interpersonal skills or teamwork abilities
- Experience in managing design and construction of Mechanical Exhaust (EXSC, EXGF, EXAM, etc.), Process Mechanical (PCW, CPCW, etc.), UPW, SWS, Process Waste (AW, CAW, SW, etc.), Process Vacuum, Vacuum distributions.
- Basic knowledge and/or understanding of control methods for mechanical and/or process systems.
- Ability to manage workload of multiple projects of varying complexity.
