FINE Infant Program is a leading Early Intervention agency that focuses on working with families and their children, ages 0-3, with developmental delays or at risk for developmental delays, in their homes. We are based in the Inland Empire and service three counties: San Diego, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Santa Barbara. We are seeking dedicated Early childhood practitioners to join our agency.
Job Description: Practitioners meet with families on a weekly schedule that is discussed collaboratively with parents. Parents must be present in all meetings with our specialists to meet the goals set with their families and their Individual Family Service Plan (IFSP). Specialists can discuss their work with colleagues in weekly clinical review meetings. All Specialists have the opportunity to share their experiences collaboratively.

1. Guides families and caregivers in incorporating activities that foster social-emotional development during daily routines in their infants and toddlers. This process emphasizes empathy, cooperation, responsibility, and self-awareness.
2. Actively promotes positive parenting by fostering nurturing and supportive interactions between parents and their children.
3. Actively supports parents and caregivers in understanding the interventions tailored for their infant or toddler during each session, empowering them to nurture their child's developmental potential.
4. Engages children in age-appropriate educational activities through play, fostering a nurturing and growth-oriented environment. Collaborates with parents and families to support the child's developmental outcomes, enhancing competency and unity within the family.
5. Guides parents and caregivers in recognizing and understanding their children’s emotional needs, providing them with practical strategies and positive interventions to enhance their children’s communication skills.
6. Attend FINE’s weekly supportive Reflective Practice meetings for professional development and to collaborate with Early Intervention professionals.

As a Child Development Specialist or Early Interventionist at FINE Infant Program, you will provide vital in-home services to children aged 0-3 and their families. This role is critical in supporting the development and well-being of children during their most formative years.
We offer part-time/full-time positions to those eager to make a difference in our communities. Our services cater to families referred by the San Diego Regional Center, Inland Regional Center, and Tri-Counties Regional Center.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or higher education in Early Childhood Studies, Education, Psychology, or any other related field supporting families and children.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with families and young children. If you need more knowledge, we will give you intensive training and your first opportunity to begin your career.
- Current CA Driver License
- Reliable transportation, auto insurance, and registration
- Background and fingerprinting process
- TB Clearance
- Current CPR
Compensation includes:
· In-home session: $27-30 hourly, based on education and experience
· Driving-time reimbursement
· Mileage reimbursement
· Weekly professional development compensation
