The Cafe Maintenance Engineer is responsible for executing tactical aspects of the company’s preventive maintenance strategy.
- Conducting maintenance travel path and planning and prioritizing preventive maintenance, and routine maintenance issues within the cafe. Partner with Area Facilities team where issues require additional support.
- Conduct basic HVAC support, such as changing air filters and belts, monitoring cleanliness level of the system, and conduct basic cleaning functions. (Will receive training by company on basic and routine inspections for HVAC systems at the store level.)
- Ability to conduct basic plumbing work including the ability to caulk and apply sealant when needed.
- Basic trouble shooting skills for kitchen and restaurant equipment
- Basic electrical repairs and ability to identify / perform breaker resets
- General woodworking and repair knowledge
- Air filter changeouts and coil cleaning
- Cross train when needed to support the Area Facilities Team in other duties.
